Vela Statement on the Passing of San Benito City Manager Manuel Lara

 

WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Filemon Vela, D-Brownsville, issued the following statement on the passing of San Benito City Manager Manuel Lara:

 "I am so sorry to hear about the passing of my friend Manuel Lara. His family will be in my prayers. It has been a real pleasure to work with Manuel Lara during my tenure in Congress. He was a real professional and I will miss him. Our region has lost an enduring advocate."
